Here's to you Prisoner

Vinegar Tits, The Freak, Queen Bea and the Screws. If you know what we're talking about then you're in for a treat when 111HITS kick off their revival of one of Australia's most iconic TV series, Prisoner.

New audiences are in for a wild ride with this ground breaking drama that began life in 1979 and introduced audiences to strong female characters grappling with issues of violence, feminism, homosexuality and more.

It's great to see subscription TV finally celebrating an icon of the Australian small screen. 111HITS, we salute you!

Who better to get in to talk about the old tart, than screen legends Candy Raymond and Graeme Blundell.

She's a naughty nurse with a bad habit

One of the benefits of having a super-abundance of new channels is that it's now possible to get up to speed on almost any drama series even if you weren't in from the start.

Case in point, Nurse Jackie. Ten showed it first, then it slipped over to 11, and now you can watch it all over again, from the very beginning as it rolls out on Showcase.

Now there are some series we don't think justify space in multiple program grids, but Nurse Jackie's got us hooked.

Andrew talks with Monty (Nova) and Scott Ellis (Sun Herald) about this very addictive series.
