All hail Jane Badler

 

Perhaps best known for her role as Diana on the original sci-fi series V, Jane Badler is far more comfortable these days wrapping her mouth around a song than chowing down on hamster.

The US born singer/ actress now calls Australia home and has popped up recently in local dramas Offspring and Neighbours.

In Sydney to perform songs from her second album Tears Again, Ms Badler dropped by to talk about some of the highlights of her very impressive career.

Friday nights on ABC2 - wish you were here

Why isn't everyone watching Friday Night Lights and The Misfits? Both series are currently getting a run on ABC2, but despite loads of critical acclaim are failing to draw the crowds.

Friday Night Lights spun-off from the 2004 film of the same name and has consistently been a hit with fans and critics alike, taking out the award for Program of the Year at this year's Television Critics Association Awards. Australian audiences have struggled to keep track of it as it's bounced about between Subscription TV, TEN HD and now Friday nights (natch) on ABC2.

Snuggled up behind FNL at 9:30 on Friday nights is the 2nd season of British series Misfits - another series with a devoted fan and critic base, scoring the BAFTA TV award for Best Drama Series last year

We love that ABC2 is giving shows like these air-time, but can't understand why viewers aren't tuning in.

Trying to get to the bottom of it, Andrew chats with Eat Yourself Sexy presenter, Sarah Wilson and Tough Nuts producer, Bryan Cockerill.
