Way back in 1974, Alan Coleman was lured to Australia by Reg Grundy to head up Grundy's fledgling TV drama department. It was there that the writer, producer and director ended up in the driver's seat on such iconic Aussie series as The Young Doctors, Class of 74, Class of 75, Glenview High, Prisoner and the ill fated male prison series Punishment.

Now, with over 50 years of tele tales to tell, Coleman has published an autobiography - "One Door Shuts" and we were delighted that he was able to drop by.
