The world of TV fan-dom is weird and wonderful. Dedication can vary in intensity from a simple poster on the wall of your favourite soap star/let to the more full-tilt devotion of face to face worship at a TV Fan Convention.  Fans have also been known to band together to lobby networks and demand, sometimes successfully,  the renewal of axed soaps.
